Hi there! My name is Catherine, I am 28, I live in Pleasanton, and I'm a UC Davis grad with a b.s. in international agricultural development. I have a UK citizenship, and have lived in CA for the past 20 years. I am calm, caring, and trustworthy. I believe that building a relationship on a foundation of trust and fairness, while teaching healthy boundaries, is crucial to the health and happiness of a child. I've have many years experience as a babysitter when I was a teen, 3 years as a P.E. coach for a class of 25 middle school homeschoolers, and for this past academic year I was a private tutor for two high school homeschoolers. Overall, I have experience caring for toddlers through to teenagers, including a young child with autism. I also have a clean driving record, and am comfortable driving children. My most recent nannying job Read more was December 2019, when I filled in for the month for a friend. Quick brag: the kids told me they wished they could have me as their regular nanny - still makes me smile. My only prior commitment is that I work as a PT Aide on Mon and Fri in Pleasanton. I am looking for a family who needs a regularly scheduled nanny, 2-3 times a week. I have my own transportation, and am willing to do morning school runs, afternoons, and/or evenings and after-school care. While I am comfortable caring for children and young adults of all ages, currently my preference is to work with elementary age children and older. Let me know if you'd like to schedule a meet up. *In light of Covid-19, I am observing social distancing and best practices, and am happy to follow family's preferences*
