Hi, how are you? My name is Agatha. I was a nanny live in (I’m looking for nanny live out position). I've been doing this since February 24th, 2022 but it's been 4 years since I start to work with kids. I wanna became a psychologist here in US, because in my home country I'm a behavioral psychologist and I used to work with kids with special needs such as autism and attention deficit. At the clinic we used to do a lot of activities with the kids and helping their development (and sometimes behaviors) while playing so they learn but playing. I was working with ABA therapists and I want to became a ABA therapist to come back to work helping kids and families. During the live in position I was watch 2 kids, when I started this job the baby was 2mo and the kid was 3yo, now Read more they are 13mo and 4yo. I was doing basically everything with them, they woke up when I start to work and the baby went to bed a little bit after I get off. I have experience with bottle preparation, bottle feeding, I change diapers every time, the transition to solid foods, sleep training, bath time, nap time, play dates, walks, playgrounds, drive to school and pick up at school and some other things related to kids. When I’m working I like to dance and sing with the kids, coloring books, puzzles, building toys, imagination and basically have fun while they learn about the new world. I identify myself as a calm, patient and very sociable person. In my free time I enjoy cooking, spending time with family and friends, shopping or traveling. Something that I consider an important feature in me is that although I am a psychologist and understand about the child's behavior, I have never exceeded the authority of the parents regarding the kids child's behavior, I can help and advise when asked, but here I am a nanny, so who sets the rules of behavior are the parents. My top 3 skills with children are patience, communication, respect. I’m Im very good at teaching kids how to communicate well, how to understand and handle their feelings, with skills development.
