Greetings! My name is Lydia. I have a great passion for working with children and providing them an environment where they are seen, safe, and encouraged to flourish as their individual selves! I have been around children ever since I was a child—being the second oldest out of 5 siblings. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old up until last year, and have also had experience being a dance teacher as well as an assistant teacher at a nature-based preschool. My greatest experience is within the ages of 18 months old-6 years old; however, I have occasionally babysat infants ranging in the 2 month-17 month age. For most of my life, I was pursuing dance. Eventually I began teaching dance where I discovered my passion for early childhood education. I am currently taking courses in early childhood education on the weekends. I am not yet CPR certified; Read more however I will get these credentials as soon as possible—before I am expected to be responsible for your little ones.
