I enjoy caring for children and have been doing so for over 20 years. I recently quit teaching preschool after 12 years and am looking for a part-time or full-time childcare opportunity. I enjoy art, outdoor activities, sports, gardening, baking, science experiments, music and instruments, reading and math, and anything creative with children. Before teaching Montessori, I was a full time nanny and cared for children of all ages (infant-18years). I have a sweet 12 year old daughter who enjoys art, swimming, and hiking. We both love spending time with my nieces (21/2 and 4) and nephew (12). I have 2 kittens, Charlie and Bosley, and 2 guinea pigs named Harold and Bean. The kittens like to play fetch and the piggies love eating cilantro and parsley from my garden. I am comfortable cooking, cleaning, driving children to activities, potty training, errands, and pet care. Experience with infant care. Pet Read more and house sitting ok. Non- smoker. Clean driving record. Own a vehicle (2019 Toyota CHR). Current CPR/First aid certification. Montessori Certified, 18 ECE units, Art major. Enrichment love, patience, nurturing, fun, adventures, academics, safety, and supervision. Drop off at my house in Newbury Park is also ok. I am available for work M-F and weekends.
