Hello! My name is Spencer and until recently, I worked full-time as an Infant/Toddler Teacher at a longstanding local early childhood education center, but became a sub for the school to better and more easily focus on my educational pursuits. I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development from CSU Fullerton in 2019 and am currently studying for my Master's in Early Childhood Education at CSU Long Beach. I started nannying my senior year of high school when I assisted a first-time mother with her newborn twins and babysat for various families in my neighborhood. I am looking to become a nanny again because even though I am no longer a full-time teacher, I am still passionate about child development, developmentally appropriate practices, and wholeheartedly believe that young children learn well through play, emergent curriculum, and Reggio Emilia/Montessori-inspired endeavors. I believe learning happens both inside and outside of Read more the classroom!
