Hi there, I’m Zyra! I have lived in Palmdale for 13 months and counting! Since June, I have been nannying a very nice elderly couples’ 3 and 7 year old granddaughters. However, they will be relocating this summer and I’m afraid I cannot go as far as they are headed. While I cared for their household, my daily tasks included basic needs such as cooking and cleaning. I was sent to run errands and attend few doctors appointments. These particular girls had tutors for their education but in their free time we always took necessary steps to build their skills. When they move, I will be available Monday through Saturday. I was raised in Wisconsin and brought up helping to care for the neighborhood children at my grandmothers daycare for 7 years. In high school, I babysat occasionally after school and on the weekends as a part time job. I Read more had taken 3 childcare courses by the time my grandma retired. After graduating high school, I gathered up a few of my grandmothers former daycare kids and the new babies of my close friends and took over the daycare she ran out of the house that she built. I did that until Covid started. During corona, for the safety of my grandma and the babies, I stopped caring for the vast majority of people in her home and started traveling to their houses only when in dire need. Being in the company of children has become more than just a job To me. I am 24 and do not have my own children yet but everywhere I go I have always had a child with me. It keeps me fun, free, and feeling fulfilled.
