I am 23 years old and recently moved to Northern California from Boulder, Colorado. I attended the University of Colorado where I received my Bachelors degree in Advertising and Communications. I have been working multiple since I was a freshman in high school and take pride in being ahead of my generation in terms of financial and other responsibilities. I have a passion for dance and travel, having experienced both since I was a young child. I have been nannying and babysitting since I was 12, when I began as a mother's helper for a single mom and her two year old son. I immediately knew I had an instinct and talent for childcare, as well as patience and enjoyment in what the job entailed. Over about 12 years, I've nannied and babysat for around ten families, including newborns to teenagers. I also had the pleasant experience of running a Read more daycare center at my college where I would be in charge of anywhere from one to ten kids at a time. I do not want to pursue being a nanny because I feel I am good at it or because it would be the easiest path given my experience. I want to be a nanny because I wholeheartedly love children and everything they bring to my life. I have watched the children I nanny grow up to be such incredible and kind people and next to parenting, I think it is the most rewarding job anyone could ask for. I learn more about myself and life from nannying than I've ever learned in a classroom. I am First Aide and CPR certified and am conversationally fluent in Spanish.
