Hello my name is Leslie Martinez, I have 5 years of experience in childcare. I started as a nanny when I was a high school, and during that time I discovered that I truly enjoyed working with children. Once I graduated I decided to take early childhood education units, when I completed my courses I became a preschool teacher. I worked at a Montessori school for a year, and that's when I decided that I wanted to work with Children permanently. Although I truly enjoyed being an educator for the young kids, I knew that I wanted to do more. Which is why I am now studying to become a pediatrics speech pathologist. I currently work at a high school as Special needs Aide/Therapist, working in this field is very rewarding. I wish to gain more knowledge and experience working with kids that have disabilities.
