I have been teaching and taking care of kids for over 35 years. I have been a nanny for five families in San Diego County over the last seven years . I have great references and Child Development education. My love for kids is what makes being a nanny my passion. My experience includes: being a kindergarten Aid and reading intervention specialist for three years; teaching first grade at a private Christian school; running my own home daycare for 10 years while my four children were growing up; being a speech and language technician; working for Head Start and at a Montessori School. I believe that if you key into a child's interests, learning will happen naturally and can be fun. I love reading, music, dancing, arts and crafts exploring the outdoors and imaginative play. I'm more like a playmate than a nanny. I am CPR and first aid certified Read more and have a clean driving record. I keep in touch with all of my previous families because I'm more like family than an employee.
