Hello! I'm Kim or Miss Kim (as my students call me). I am 33 years old. I'm currently a music teacher but I am looking to fill my mornings and afternoons with a nanny or babysitting position. I started working as a babysitter when I was 14 years old; part time on weekends and occasional evenings up until I was 20. I transitioned to being a full time nanny when I finished the Citrus Singer Program at Citrus College. My first full time position was for a family with twins age 1; an adorable little boy and girl. I worked as a full time nanny for several years with different families as their needs and my living location changed. In 2012 I decided to go back to school to get my BFA in Musical Theatre. I took a break from nannying because of the rigorous class schedule. After I graduated Read more in 2016, I started Nannying again and also started my own Private Voice Lesson Business (KFVS) and began working for a Youth Theatre Company in Orange Country. 3 years ago I had to leave my nannying position and all other work because of an injury I sustained (not due to nannying or work place related; can give more background in interview). Due to pandemic, my voice lesson business has suffered and now I am looking for start back up my nannying carrier. I still have a couple students I teach weekly and also teach at the youth theatre in the evenings, which is why I am only available during the day time. This will change in February in the new year and my evenings will open up on certain days. (Can discuss more in the interview in detail of my situation) I have always loved working with kids of all ages; in large groups and one on one. I have CPR and First Aid training. I am energetic, fun and very nurturing. Being an educator, I always try to make learning fun and exciting. I play games and am very creative. I believe in sticking to a strict schedule for children under the age of 5. I cook, I clean and can do general house chores if needed. I have my own car and am comfortable dropping off to school and running errands. I look forward to meeting you and your family and hope that I can help with your child care needs.
