Hi! I’m Christine and I’m currently a UC Davis student residing in Davis. My grandma had 12 kids, so growing up, I was surrounded with many siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews. I often help my parents, aunts, and uncles out with babysitting while they were busy working to help them save money. As for paid experience, I have babysat and tutored two middle-school children for about half a year and took care of a 1-year-old baby for a few months. This required swimming supervision, homework help, motivating kids to exercise, preparing food, walking dogs, feeding baby, and changing diapers. With babysitting, I like to connect with the children and make sure they have a good time instead of just simply looking after them. I believe forming a real relationship with the kids helps create a better environment for the kids, sitter, and parents.
