I am an active retired social worker who has been a substitute childcare provider for a licensed day care for 10+ years. I have had a 2021 background check. I raised two children of my own, one with Down Syndrome. In my role as a social worker I worked with developmentally disabled children, in mental health and, for more than 25 years, with dementia and Alzheimer's patients. I love children of all ages and am happy to participate in floor activities, music, reading, creative games...I love to see kids having fun. I am kind, patient, and respect parents' choices in how to relate to their child(ren.) I taught CPR/ heimlich infant/child/adult for 15 years including instruction for medical professionals. I have not renewed my own certification. I also have extensive past training in emergency first aid. I am fully vaccinated against Covid.
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.
