Hi there! Growing up in a family with 4 kids, I was always taking care of someone or begging to watch friends kids. As I grew older, I found a passion for caregiving and ended up babysitting in high school as well as volunteering at a local preschool in the summer to aid teachers in classrooms with children with disabilities. Through my experience there, I went on to Oregon State University and studied Human Development and Family Sciences for two years gaining much knowledge on infant and adolescent development. While ultimately decided I no longer wanted to become a teacher, I still wanted to take care of children as much as possible. I worked at the daycare in campus with the 6-12 year old group and then at a preschool nearby. I’m now a senior, graduating in mid June! This past year, I moved home and began nannying. I have Read more nannied for two different families. The family I am currently with, I have been working for them from when their daughter was 9weeks and will be working with them until she is one and ready to go into daycare (she’s 7 months now)! I have experience with infants, toddlers, adolescents, and have a slight knowledge about how to with with kids with on the Autism spectrum as well as Down Syndrome. I am both CPR and first aid certified and will be looking to renew once the certification is up! A little bit about me, I have two dogs that fostered then adopted in college that I absolutely love. I love the outdoors and a good adventure, I have a good mix of playing and fun while also knowing what boundaries to set while watching kids. I’d love to be your next nanny, I’m excited to hear from you guys!
