My name is Eliza, and I'm a babysitter and nanny based out of Los Angeles. I have 7 years of child care experience as a babysitter, tutor, and nanny (live in, part-time, and full-time) in LA, Oregon, Boston, Canada, and England. My childcare philosophy centers around mutual respect, learning through play, and fostering a child's innate sense of empathy and creativity. I am a young playwright in residence at the Echo theatre, and a founding member of an interdisciplinary art collective. When I'm not working or creating, I spend as much time as possible in the natural world- hiking, swimming, backpacking, and exploring! In these uncertain times, I have found myself missing the connection and value that comes from caring for children. I am eager to get back into wok helping families in my communities! Eliza is such a sweetheart. She is reliable and she is friendly and my daughter loves her. She enables my girl to explore on her own while closely watching her without hovering or helicoptering like many others we have interviewed ... I love that they explore outside a little bit and she is very creative :)
