Hello my name is Sarah and I'm looking to find a welcoming family to work for as I am also a single mother and have a 3 year old son whom I hope to bring along as well. We just relocated to Southern California (where I am from) so we can be closer to our family and friends. I am looking to start as early as November 15th, 2021. Pre-COVID I taught preschool at a daycare for 5 years however I have experience with all ages. For the past year and a half I have used the skills I obtained in the class to homeschool my son and he has grown tremendously, we are currently starting sight words. Early childhood education is a passion of mine and I look forward to using my experience and knowledge to help as many children as I can throughout my life. I am very Read more enthusiastic and hands on and I believe in learning through play however I do also incorporate Montessori style learning into my teaching methods. Although I love to focus on early education, I also love spending time outside and working out as well. Doing this with my son has helped me to instill healthy habits in him and I look forward to having other children join our fun. Aside from previously working in a classroom setting I am currently (March 2021-current) a nanny for a family with 3 children ages 9 months, 5 years and 7 years old. I do everything from science, art, holiday activities to housework and dinner to staying late for date night. I am so excited to find a family and become a part of their journey!
