As a substitute teacher I have worked with kids of all ages from kindergarten to seniors in high school, so I am very comfortable helping children with any summer studies they may need practice with for the upcoming school year. In college, I studied filmmaking, screenwriting, and theatre and am more than happy to share that knowledge if the children share that interest. I also took 4 years of French and I can play the ukulele if they are interested in learning either of those. I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and swimming as well as arts and crafts, baking, dungeons and dragons, and learning all about the cool things that captivates a child’s interest. I enjoy working with children because they’re fun, imaginative, hilarious, and a lot smarter than people give them credit for. They say it takes a village to raise a child and I’m more than happy to be part of that village. I’m very flexible with my schedule and know that parents need nights out to enjoy each other’s company without the kids, so I’m able to work nights and weekends for date nights as well.
