Hello! I am an enthusiastic and responsible babysitter/nanny with experience in all ages of child development and individual abilities. I have worked with children with physical and intellectual disabilities, and I have college level education on Early Childhood Development. I am very energetic and optimistic, and I believe I would be the perfect fit for your family! My passion for childcare / child development started when I was a child myself--  my mother is a preschool teacher, so I would always be eager to help her in the classroom on the days I didn’t have school.  My little sister was born when I was 11, and my other sister was born when I was 13.  I have absolutely loved being involved in their upbringing and I knew I was meant to work with children. As I got older, I started babysitting.  In my senior year of high school, I decided to Read more get my Early Child Development Certificate so that I’d have more experience working with young children.  I began working as nanny full time in April 2017, and I stayed with them until they moved out of state a couple years later.  The Director of Operations of the gym I worked at then hired me to watch his son in October 2019 because he loved the way I interacted with the children in the Kids Club.  I was also babysitting for the another family at the same time.  Both families began working from home during the COVID-19 lockdown, and no longer needed my services. Aside from babysitting/nanny roles, I worked in a middle school for two years as an Educational Assistant (paraeducator) for special education, and as a Health Assistant in the nurse’s office.  Working with children of different abilities has helped me to grow my critical thinking, problem solving skills, and has allowed me to be very flexible when situations don’t go as planned.  I resigned from Hoover Middle School when I moved to Phoenix in March 2021. I have been working in retail and at a doggy daycare since moving to Phoenix, but my passion still lies in child development. I love dogs so I am comfortable being in a home with pets.
