Hello! I am Nicole, a 21 year old kind, caring, and fun girl! Since I was little I have always been drawn to caring for children and have always had a very nurturing personality! Before I was able to work, I was always watching our families and friends kids and could not wait to work with children when I was older. As soon as I became of the age to work I immediately got a job at a child care facility where I experienced caring for children from 2-13. After some time with the facility, another child care facility reached out to me as I had some friends working with them and began at their daycare. This is where I truly learned and experienced working with children. I was at this daycare for 3 years where I was a lead teacher in the infant, two year old, and preschool room. Read more In the infant room I had a structured schedule and also took in account of the schedule each child had at home. I cared for 5 infants at once and changed diapers, prepped and gave bottles, purée and food they brought from home. We did developmental activities in order to get them in the right direction of their next class. In the older classrooms, I have potty trained, taught lessons, and also focused on developmental activities. While I was working at this daycare, I was also enrolled in the COOP preschool program at my high school where we prepared lessons, taught, played, and lead the preschoolers into their next steps of kindergarten! Overall, all the children I have cared for have taught me that I would love to continue caring for them as I love seeing each child grow up over the years! I am currently in nursing school, in hopes to one day become a pediatric nurse! On my free time I love being with my friends, working out, or spending quality time with family! I am looking for a sweet family I can hopefully become a part of, and trust me with the care of their kids!
