Hi there! My name is, Susie. I am a HAPPY mother of 2 fantastic children; a son who is 12 and a daughter who is 10. I have been in the wonderful world of childcare, both paid and unpaid, for the past 12 years. When my children were toddlers I enrolled them in a Co-Op preschool so I could still be a part of those early formative years. I was the 'perpetual co-opping parent' because I LOVED witnessing and being involved in those developmental processes. As that first year was coming to an end, the school asked me to join their team and teach with them. I taught there until my youngest entered kindergarten. I found that I was truly enlightened by the diverse impressionable soul within each child. Next, I was approached by a family with 4 children, ages 7 and under, who asked me to Nanny for them. Read more I happily and successfully worked with that family for more than a year and gained a huge appreciation for my ability to peacefully multi-task! In 2011, I began working part-time at the Paradise Valley Costco. I worked there through 2014. I also decided to keep myself busy while my kids were in school and worked in the Child Care Center in the Scottsdale Lifetime Fitness for about 2yrs. Meanwhile, feeding my love for yoga and a healthy way of life! I have a current Arizona State fingerprint card and have also been finger printed and back ground checked with the Paradise Valley School District where my kids attend school. A few of the above jobs have required CPR training and I just completed a current CPR/First Aid/AED certification course with the American Heart Association on August 21st, 2015. I feel that it is very important to be consistent with individual family's rules, expectations, and boundaries for their children. I always walk through life upholding my integrity and respecting the wide array of differences within each of us. I look forward to meeting a new family and enriching their children's lives!
