I have been caring for special needs children since I was eleven years old. I have grown up around children with various special needs and have always loved interacting and playing with them. My love for these kids led me to enter into the field of Occupational Therapy. I am not a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and I work part time at a Pediatric Clinic providing therapy to children with physical and cognitive disabilities. I would love to bring my knowledge and experience of Occupational Therapy into the home where I can work with the parents and child to problem solve barriers that arise in the daily life of a special needs child. I find joy in providing quality care to special needs children with the focus of improving participation and quality of life. During my educational pursuits I have gained CPR and BLS certifications and Child Abuse Certifications.
