My name is Emile Harper and I am a mom of 3 wonderful sons! My oldest son, Evan, will be starting his senior year at Auburn in the fall (hopefully in class and not virtual!), my middle son, Addison just graduated from Mountain Brook, and my youngest son, Lucas will be a junior at the high school in the fall. I graduated Mountain Brook in 1989 and then attended University of Alabama for 2 years and then finished up at UAB. After I graduated UAB with a degree in Elementary Education, I taught 4th grade (1 year) and 3rd grade (3 years) at Lee Scott Academy in Auburn. When I moved back to Birmingham, I taught pre-school for a year and a half and then decided to stay home and be a full-time mom (my most rewarding job of my life!). When my children were old enough for pre-school and Read more kindergarten, I began working for Brownell Travel and now have been there for almost 13 years. Unfortunately due to Covid-19 and the nature of our industry, Brownell had to lay off 70% of employees and my last day of employment was June 26. During the last few months, I have done some soul searching and realized that this may be the best time for a career path change! I am 49 years old, and have raised 3 wonderful, responsible young men and that absolutely is my greatest accomplishment. I love children and sad that I will have an empty house in a couple of years. With all that said, I do not have a formal resume, however, I have successfully raised 3 kids and do know a thing or 2 about taking care of children! :)Please let me know if you have already hired someone or if you are interested in speaking.
