From Family Concierge: A sweet Redmond couple is expecting their first baby in late September 2024 and they're looking for a night doula for overnight care as soon as mom delivers. Care is needed 3 nights a week, 10hrs a night (estimate from 9pm-7am), for the first 8 weeks of baby's life. Flexibility to increase/decrease days/hours as baby's needs change and develop would be a plus! Responsibilities will include:
-Feeding & burping (supporting mom with breastfeeding or bottle feeding)
-Changing diapers
-Soothing baby when they cry or fuss
-Light cleaning related to tasks (ex. bottles, etc.)
-Assisting with creating/maintaining healthy routines, sleep training, etc.
-Supporting/educating parents on newborn care and feeding
-Providing emotional support and reassurance to new parents
The ideal caregiver will have newborn experience and knowledge of sleep training & safe sleep practices. Infant First Aid & CPR required. Compensation will be set at $30-$50 per hour, DOE.
