My MIL usually takes care of our youngest, 2yo, during the day and gets the other (6) children on/off the bus. She will usually be available but recently fell and will not be able to pick up the 2yo for about 2 months. Occasional assistance with driving for appointments is a plus but not a need. Beyond daily care for the 2yo, light cleaning/meal prep/laundry would also be helpful. Someone willing to bring him to the nearby library for socialization would be excellent.
