We are seeking an experienced, caring, and active professional who truly enjoys spending time with toddlers. The in-home nanny will look after our 2 year old daughter (almost 3) from Monday through Friday approximately 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. We live in Stafford County, 22405 zip code, off of Route 17. This position does not require weekend or evening work.

Responsibilities:
The nanny will be responsible for caring for our daughter, engaging her with fun, educational and developmentally-appropriate activities. Our daughter is very curious, likes to try new things, and can be independent at times. The nanny will keep us updated on events throughout the day and alert us or a designated contact immediately if there are any problems.

Duties include:
-Changing diapers (only wearing during sleep times) and assisting with potty time
-Food preparation and mealtime with finger foods/straw cup/snack time
-Reading books to toddler and engaging her with toys, educational and fun activities
-Keeping a close watch on her as she plays and keeping an eye on the monitor while she naps
-Maintaining a feeding and nap schedule (One midday nap per day)
