A family in Arlington, VA is seeking a responsible and skilled household manager/nanny to help care for their home and 9-year-old daughter.

This position requires managerial & domestic skills to ensure the smooth functioning of the household. You will be responsible for assisting in maintaining household inventory, grocery shopping, menu planning/prep, & cooking (the family follows a lacto-octo vegetarian diet, so being comfortable with this dietary preference is essential), laundry, light housekeeping, & other household tasks. You will also be responsible for childcare duties including child-related transportation, & homework help.

Child: 9-year-old
Hrly rate & annual salary: $30-$35hr/$46K-$54k+year.
Benefits:
 10 days of paid vacation (5 of which should overlap with one of the family’s annual vacations), 5 paid sick days, paid major holidays, a $300 per month healthcare stipend, & mileage reimbursement
Schedule: 30 hrs per week. The schedule will fall on Mon - Fri from 2 pm to 8 pm. The candidate must be willing to work on Sun 1 to 2 times per month from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
