Alexandria, VA Family in need of Nanny!

A loving family in Alexandria is seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic, part-time nanny to join their household. The two children thrive on play and learning, and they are looking for someone who can help foster their growth and creativity while providing before and after school care. The position will begins as soon as possible.

Hours and Key Responsibilities:

Before School Care (7:00 AM - 9:00 AM):
Prepare and serve breakfast.
Assist with morning routines, including brushing teeth and dressing.
Walk our daughter, age 3, to preschool at 9:00 AM (a short distance from our home).
Take our son, age 6, to the bus stop for an 8:30 AM pick-up.
Afternoon Care (1:00 PM - 5:00 PM):
Pick up our daughter from preschool at 1:00 PM.
Engage in playtime, crafts, or quiet activities (including nap time for our daughter).
Pick up our son from the bus stop at 4:00 PM.
Supervise and engage the children in outdoor play in our large fenced-in yard or on our new play set.

Occasional Full-Day Care:

Provide care on days when children are off from school and we have work commitments, particularly during teacher work days.
The ideal candidate would have specific experience adhering to a daily schedule directed by the parents, fully engaging with the children while playing, and most importantly, providing a safe, loving, and enriching environment for the children.
