My husband and I, married for 12 years now, have a beautiful little girl who is currently 7 weeks old. My husband is a lawyer and currently writing and negotiating contracts for a non-profit organization but looking for other opportunities. I am a federal worker at the Department of Commerce. We moved to the DC area about 9 years ago from Michigan and have established strong roots here, especially through our wonderful church community.
Beginning in mid-August I will need to go back to work at least part time, but full time by September. We are looking for someone to take excellent care of our little girl while we are both working.
We are considering doing a nanny share with a friend who lives close by and who has 2 children. Both my husband and I start work at 8am so we'd need childcare beginning at 7am and going through about 5pm Monday-Friday.
