Duties include transporting the children from school to activities and home, supervising homework, running errands, and assisting with meal prep and laundry. Both parents work from the office full time, with perhaps one day a week at home, so candidates should be comfortable with that. While candidates should be fun, approachable and relaxed, they are not "friends" to the children and will need to reinforce rules and boundaries and sometimes discipline as set by the parents, and who value kindness, a good work ethic and empathy. Ideally this family would schedule two to three nights Mon-Thurs, typically have set days.
