West University area family is seeking an experienced nanny to care for their two children, ages 5 and 3. Both children attend school during the day, so from 8a-noon when the children are in school, the nanny may tend to household tasks like running errands, organizing the children's areas, and light housekeeping.
In addition to providing high quality care, the nanny will drive the children to and from school and activities, actively engage the children in age appropriate play and activities and tend to tasks related to the children. The family has a housekeeper, so there is no deep cleaning required. Mom is an emergency medicine physician and gets her schedule 30 to 90 days in advance, which will inform the nanny's schedule.
The nanny will typically work three to four days per week with hours falling between 7a and 7p. Candidates who can also work on the weekends from 8a-1p or 1p-7p would be preferred. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, a team player and committed to provide attentive care for their children. This position has an ideal start date of February, but has some flexibility to start in January for the right candidate.
