This is a W2 part time contract nanny position for the 2024-2025 school year. Must be a US citizen.

Young family with parents that work full time but whose daycare doesn't extend to normal working hours. A is a sweet and active 3yo boy who enjoys focusing on his tasks and participating in everything he does as much as possible (we are deep in the "do it by myself" phase!). We also have a 4yo border collie, who is very active and intelligent. We strive for a calm and minimalist house, and supporting our son to be a capable and thoughtful.
We need coverage for after school, with a nanny arriving early before we bring our son home. Pre-arrival duties include light housework, like laundry, folding, kitchen clean-up, prepping light snacks and lunch for the next day. We have bi-weekly cleaners but just need someone to help out with the in-between. After arrival home from school, we need someone who will calmly guide A into activities like snack prep, play, crafts, or trips down the block to the local pool while we finish up work.
Mondays-Thursdays 3-6PM, Friday 12-5PM. Location in NE Austin (University Hills). Position is W2 contract, up to $30k annual, 20 hours per week. Benefits (healthcare, PTO) negotiable depending on weekly hours after 6mo. Must have at least 2 references, and pass a background and DMV check. We can provide a reference from our previous nanny!
