This laid back and values-based family with parents who work full time outside the home is searching for a dynamic addition to their team! They have a social, smart and active 8.5 year old who is a rule follower with a big heart. He’s in school full time, so their hiring goal would be to have someone split their day with household and childcare responsibilities from 11:30am to 7:30pm. They are open to ending earlier (6pm) on Fridays in exchange for a later night Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
Hours: M – F 11:30am – 7:30 PM
Flexibility needed: occasionally shift the day 2 – 10 pm with notice, or shift earlier for sick days or school breaks.
Guaranteed hours: 40/week
Duration: 1+ years!
-3 yrs of professional nanny or family assistant experience
-Experience working with ages 6+
-Punctual
-Having a kind/positive approach to discipline
-Comfortable with parents who occasionally work from home and may be around in the evenings (but FA still have full autonomy until they’re off for the day
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Engage him in creative play, building Legos, and attending activities like ice skating lessons and bouldering/rock climbing team. Assist with dinner and bedtime routines
• Driving & Errands
• Household Management: Before school pickup (11:30am-2:30pm), assist with various household tasks.
• Encouraging the family's values of being present in the moment, treating others with kindness
