First-time, expecting parents in East Nashville are seeking an experienced, flexible, and easy-going nanny to support them in their new parenting journey. This family values collaboration and respect for their parenting choices. They are looking for a nanny who finds joy in helping, is a wealth of knowledge, and can offer encouragement and information. Both parents are attorneys and need a reliable partner to help them transition smoothly into their new normal of working parents.
SCHEDULE
Monday – Thursday, 34 – 40 hours scheduled between 7:30 AM – 7 PM
Guaranteed hours will reflect the final set schedule (34 – 40 hours offered)
Start Date/Duration: September 9, 2024 – January/February 2025
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide full charge childcare, meeting the baby’s physical, emotional, and developmental needs.
- Organize, tidy, and clean baby’s items, incl bottles, toys, bedding, and laundry.
- Create an enriching, screen-free environment meeting developmental milestones.
Minimum of 4 years of infant experience
- Hold at least two former nanny positions
- Able to commit for a 4 to 5-month period
- Flexible work hours between 7:30 AM – 7 PM, Monday to Thursday
- Up-to-date CPR certification
- Non-smoker/vaper
- Collaborative and easy-going personality
- Will also have the ongoing support of an overnight newborn care specialist 3-5 nights per week.
- This role is short-term, with an anticipated transition to daycare in early 2025.
