We just had our first baby and also have a 3 year old Corgi. My mom will be working from home and available for emergencies. Our dog will probably stay upstairs with her, but occasionally come down to see you and the baby.

Watch our son during the day on Thursdays. After the new year, we would probably extend to Wednesday-Friday coverage.
