A family of three on the Upper East Side of New York seeks a full-time live-in nanny for their 2.5-year-old child. The family is seeking a nanny who wants a long-term relationship and speaks native Spanish. The family has a baby on the way in February and will have a baby nurse till June. The job starts as soon as the family finds the right fit. The schedule will be Monday-Friday 10 am-8 pm with the flexibility to stay late for occasional date nights and possible weekend help once in a while.
The family has a studio apartment in the same building as theirs that the nanny can live in, it has a private entrance, private bathroom, and living room area but no kitchen. The person is always welcome to use the family's kitchen whenever they would like.

The ideal candidate understands the Montessori approach. There will be no deep cleaning as the family has a housekeeper already. They would just like someone who doesn't mind helping around the home instead of thinking this is not my job.
Responsibilities:
Help with drop off and pickups from school
Help prepare meals
Taking the child to activities
Doing the children's laundry 
Making sure the nursery is clean and tidy
Help keeping a routine and sleep schedule once the new baby is of age
Transportation to activities when needed 
Must be able to travel in the summers to Nantucket & weekend trips

Salary & Benefits:
$30/hr plus a studio apartment
All meals are covered 
PTO & Sick days
