Night Nanny Needed for Infant with Silent Reflux
Posted by Gaurav V. on 10/26/2024
- 1 child (Infant)
- $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
My wife and I are in our early 40s, happily married for 12 years. After taking some time to start a family, we embarked on a journey through fertility treatments and eventually surrogacy, which took four years to welcome our first child. Our baby girl is so deeply loved and eagerly awaited. We also have a sweet 12-year-old toy labradoodle, who was our ‘baby before the baby.’ My wife works in medicine, and I work in media and marketing.
Our 3-month-old daughter needs night care, including feeding, diaper changes, and interactive engagement. She has silent reflux, requiring upright positioning or an incline under careful supervision. We seek someone experienced in infant care, ideally familiar with silent reflux. A newborn care specialist is preferred but not required. Strong hygiene is key: hand washing, changing into indoor clothes, wearing masks in crowded places, and informing us if you attend large gatherings.
We’re seeking a night nanny to stay awake and care for our baby overnight due to her silent reflux. We need coverage for five nights a week, with flexibility for the other two based on weekly needs. Once she outgrows this, night care may be reduced. Preferred hours are 10 pm-7am or 11 pm-8am. We live in a new building in Murray Hill, with a one-bedroom apartment on a high floor and a stunning, unblocked East River view. It’s a modern, serene space with great amenities and a welcoming atmosphere.
