We are a warm, liberal, bookish, academic family of four, including two boys, ages 9 & 11, living in Manhattan. Looking for a LIVE-IN nanny (salary includes room+board) who is comfortable with a split schedule (early mornings, drive to school - one child goes to school in Westchester, the other in the Bronx, which can be challenging). We are looking for live-in as it's hard to manage the early start and split schedule otherwise.

Driving required. LGBTQ+ friendly. Spanish speaking a plus.
The schedule is mornings (7am-9:30am) & afternoons (2:30pm-8:30pm). Lots of driving (and being comfortable driving) required (we have a car). Some evenings and weekends (with overtime pay) if amenable to everyone. Occasional overnight care when parents are traveling for work or pulling late night work hours or date night. Minimum one year commitment (we are looking for a longterm position/relationship). We are still close with our former nannies and happy to put you in touch with them!
We live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, in the center of NYC two blocks from Central Park and the Express train (it's one short stop to Times Square). Mom is a museum curator and dad is an attorney. We both travel for work and don't have family on the East Coast, so we are looking for a real parenting partner and new addition to our family. We are into the arts, new adventures in the city, and are a bookish, nerdy/intellectual (tv free, screen limited), Jewish, liberal home.
