A kind and loving family on the Upper East Side are seeking a long-term, live-out career nanny for their two children (ages 5 and 2.5) who are multi-lingual. The ideal candidate will be able to provide structure in a nurturing, supportive, and encouraging way. The schedule will be Monday through Friday from 7:45am to 5:30pm with some flexibility. The family travels to Long Island for a month at a time, typically over the Summer. It is desired that the candidate travel with.
Planning educational and recreational activities
Always ensuring safety and well-being of the children
Regularly engaging in outdoor activities
Researching child friendly, age-appropriate events, pop-ups or other excursions

Child-related tidying up
Children’s laundry
Packing and unpacking of children’s belongings for travel
Support developmental milestones through reading, drawing, play, counting, and other appropriate means. Not through tablets or tv
All aspects of full-charge childcare
Previous experience in a similar role
Active and playful– Not afraid to run around a playground with the children
Support children’s social and emotional needs
Proactively anticipate the needs of the children and family
Communicate and collaborate with parents regarding the best interests of the children
Warm and nurturing demeanor
Trustworthy and reliable
CPR & First Aid Certified
Fluent in English and Spanish
