A family of three in Bronxville, NY is seeking a full-time nanny/housekeeper to care for their 5-year-old son. The position is live-out Monday-Friday and the hours can be flexible but are approximately 10am-7pm. Their son attends pre-school so during this time the candidate would be required to complete light housework duties- laundry, emptying the dishwasher, etc. The family also has a cleaner visit once a week. The position starts ASAP. They are offering PTO, sick days, overtime, and holidays.
Mom is around during the day, so the candidate should be comfortable with this as you will be working alongside each other, playing 'tag-team' and sharing responsibilities- organising play-dates, visits to the park, helping their son to reach his next educational milestones. The family have raised their son with positive parenting and seek a candidate who is like-minded, and calm, and it would be a bonus if they had a early childhood degree.
The family travels domestically and internationally and would like the candidate to travel with them. You must be comfortable around dogs as the family own a Beagle, they would like the candidate to take her out for walks. The ideal candidate must be COVID, Flu, and TDaP vaccinated and have English as a first language. It is also important to have had longevity in previous roles. A driver with a clean licence is required, and ideally the family would like the candidate to have their own car.
