Suffolk County/Long Island family seeking full-time nanny for their 18 month old to start ASAP. Care is needed long-term Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. Large friendly Lab in the home. Mom and dad work primarily from home each week. The family is hoping to have another child within the next year, so newborn care experience will be needed. Newborn care would require meeting monthly milestones, bottle washing and sterilizing. The nanny will need to be very caring, loving, and attentive.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Bath time
* Cook/prep snacks & meals for the child
* Diaper changing
* Driving child (family's vehicle)
* Engage w/ child
* Laundry for child
* Light housekeeping related to the child
* Light pet care assistance

Child is active & enjoys going on neighborhood walks, outdoor play, playing with the family dog, & swimming. Child will be attending preschool part time starting in Sept. & nanny will oftentimes be responsible for drop offs + pickups which is ~6 minute drive one way.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of 2 years of paid professional newborn care experience
* Toddler care experience is preferred
* CPR certification or willing to renew
* Authorized to work in the U.S.
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Valid driver's license + clean driving record
* Comfortable with large friendly dogs
* Must know how to swim
* No smoking on premises
