North Park Slope, Brooklyn, near Barclays Center. I am a single mom & speech therapist leading a team of special educators / therapists in an innovative homeschool program for my sweet chatty autistic 7 year old. It’s busy, need a consistent, professional, focused person to support this process in a teacher role.

The role includes time spent working just with my son, time with us both, time collaborating, planning, organizing just w/ me and w/ his team. We are introducing more and more structure to my son’s life, but warmth, a good relationship, flexibility, creativity are more important than forced formal lessons.

Part time or full time hours within school day hours available. Education experience preferred but credentials are flexible. Minimum one year commitment. Competitive rate for right fit. $30-50+/hr. Caregiving tasks are part of this role as integral to activities of my son’s routine.
