Hello. I have a 11 year old autistic son who goes to eSchool from home as well as a small therapy dog for him. We're a mother and father with our only child. We live in a comfortable apartment though the bathroom could be a bit bigger! The apartment complex has it's own pool which our kid adores going to. Our son is sweet, big, and amazingly loud so our feelings won't be hurt if you wear headphones (it's a common thing in the house!)
I need someone on at least Fridays from 12-6p to watch my son. Usually we will have finished up his homework by then and he will have had lunch, by 6pm, his father will come home and make dinner so there's no need for cooking. If anything we need to make sure he doesn't get into all the snack food and that the dog is taken out back where there's grass for him to use (we also have a lead and baggies). If you can engage him in activities, please do!
Our location is San Mateo and Lomas, if a ride needs to be provided that isn't an issue. I would like to add an extra day in so That I can errands done like laundry, grocery shopping, or if I get lucky, taking classes.
