I am a police officer with a very nontraditional schedule , I work 4 days on and then I have 4 days off so I would only need for the days I’m not working meaning some weeks I would need 4 days for a babysitter /nanny and other weeks I would only need 2 days . My wife works in a hospital that’s about an hour away .

Feeding , changing diapers and just playing little games with her is all that’s needed .
