A kind family in Uptown Hoboken seeks a flexible household manager/nanny to support their home and busy schedules. The scheduled hours are Monday-Friday 12pm-8pm with some flexibility to come early or stay later on occasion. This role involves school pick-ups, transporting a 6-year-old boy and 8-year-old girl to and from after-school activities, and assisting with evening routines of homework, dinner and bedtime
While the children are in school, the Household Manager will manage light household tasks (such as family laundry, dishes, grocery shopping, simple healthy meal prep) and run errands around Hoboken. The family employs a regular housekeeper. Start date is ASAP for the right candidate. Kids have many different activities all around Hoboken so must be physically able to walk all over town with kids.
Parents are a hybrid of working from the office and home in a separated area. The ideal candidate speaks English fluently and has excellent communication skills with the parents and kids. The ideal candidate has experience with school-age kids and can engage them in meaningful ways, including assisting with homework, helping prepare for activities. Pay is $1,000 weekly, with vacation, holidays, and sick days included
