A kind family in Uptown Hoboken seeks a flexible household manager/nanny to support their home and busy schedules. This role involves school pick-ups, transporting a 6-year-old boy and 9-year-old girl to and from after-school activities, and assisting with evening routines like dinner and bedtime. he ideal schedule is: Mon 12pm-8pm; Tue 1:15pm-8:15pm; Wed 7:30am to 8:30pm; Thur 12:30pm-7:30pm; Fri 2:45pm-7:45pm with some flexibility (40 hours a week). While the children are in school, the Household Manager will manage light household tasks (such as laundry, dishes, grocery shopping, simple meal prep, and organizing projects) and run errands around Hoboken, helping keep the family’s calendars organized and up-to-date. The family employs a regular housekeeper. Family lives in a brownstone with stairs throughout the home and kids have many different activities all around Hoboken so must be physically able to walk all over town with kids.
Parents are a hybrid of working from the office and home in a separated area. The ideal candidate speaks English fluently and has excellent communication skills with the parents and kids. The ideal candidate has experience with school-age kids and can engage them in meaningful ways, including assisting with homework, helping prepare for activities. Pay is $1,000 weekly, with vacation, holidays, and sick days included
