A family in Myers Park needs a FT Nanny for their daughter, who will be 4 months old when the nanny starts. Hours are M - Th 9 am - 5 pm.
The best nanny for this family would have a positive attitude, a strong passion for caring for infants and toddlers, and would be active and engaging with their daughter. Their daughter is quite young; however, the family is working on establishing a routine and schedule and has been following “Taking Cara Babies”. A plus if the nanny were familiar with this
scheduling method, but it can be easily followed(feeding, napping changing and playing). Must adhere to the provided schedule, ensuring all the baby's needs are met. Responsibilities include fostering a nurturing environment and engaging in age-appropriate activities and daily strolls and reading books during the day to promote development. Early Childhood Education background is a Plus. Nanny must be able to safely carry the baby up/down 3 flights stairs safely.
The mom works from home and the nanny should be comfortable working in a home with WFH parent. Family has a dog, so the nanny must not be allergic to and be comfortable with dogs.
Job starts Jan 2025, and pay is negotiable at $25-38 an hour, with Continued pay, Paid major holidays, Paid time off, and Paid mileage. The nanny should have prior nannying experience, a college degree or equal experience, be CPR and First Aid Certified, and be able to pass a full reference and background check.
