A family in Charlotte's South Park area is seeking a full-time Family Assistant to care for their two young children, a 4.5YO daughter and 8MO son. Ideal candidate is punctual, reliable, safety-conscious, and experienced with infants and toddlers, understanding their developmental milestones and educational needs. The FA will work M- F, typically 40-45 hr/week, with a schedule provided six weeks in advance. In the mornings you will help the daughter get ready for school and transport if needed.
While the daughter is at school, the FA will focus on the son's care, engaging him in age-appropriate activities like crawling, reading, music, arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor play, and community outings. Nap times will be dedicated to light household tasks.

Afternoons will include picking the daughter up from preschool (if needed) and planning engaging activities for both children. The FA should be proactive and creative in planning fun educational activities at home and in the community.
Spanish or Mandarin language fluency is a plus but is not required.
Family Assistant must be able to swim as the family has a backyard pool. Job starts in Sept, and pay is negotiable at $25-28/hour, with Continued pay, Paid major holidays, Paid time off, and Paid mileage. The nanny should have prior nannying experience, a college degree or equal experience, be CPR and First Aid Certified, and be able to pass a full reference and background check.
