I have two children, ages 2.5 and 4. I am originally from the Detroit area but have been living in Tampa, FL. We are relocating back to Michigan for a new job and to be closer to family. We are very close to my sisters and mother who live in the area so you'll likely be interacting with them as well to meet for play dates or if I am late coming home from work. I have a hybrid job so I only need to be in the office 3 days per week and will be home the other days.
I'm looking for someone who has lots of energy and patience. Taking care of two preschool age kids requires consistency, understanding, and patience. On the days you would work, I would expect that the kids get to do some type of activity each day outside of the home - whether it be a play date, the park, library, or something else.
The position is for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 - 4:30. If you can work on Wednesdays as well, that would be preferred. The kids will be in school until 11:30 so it would just be a half day that day. We live in a duplex in Grosse Pointe Park that is close to parks and a short drive to other activities.
