Hello! We are a two mom family, Jen and Tisha, with an eight year old son Leo who is in second grade. We have two little dogs and a cat, as well as a fish tank and turtle. We love animals but understand if they are not your thing! Tisha works from home and travels frequently for work. Jen also works from home and is primary with Leo, but has an increasingly busy work load and some travel coming up this year. We love spending time together as a family in the outdoors and also love to travel.
Pick up from school in Holland and drive Leo home. Spend time with him after school until mealtime. Some days he's really tired so it would be relaxing play (Legos, games). Occasionally, we'd need someone to watch Leo on the weekend days and for overnights both during the week and on weekends. We're not so concerned about extra help like errands and light laundry. We really want someone our son can get to know and feel comfortable with when we're not around.
Our son is not a team sport kind of kid, but he's very active and loves going to the trampoline park, riding his bike, playing hide and seek and tag. He loves fishing and catching bugs and frogs. He's happy hanging out at home but we really want to keep him active and on screens only after he's had a fair share of physical activity. He loves Minecraft and we are okay with him gaming but monitor it closely and try to be interactive with him when he's playing.
