We are a family of 4, two professional working parents and two children (Caleb, 12, and CJ, 10). This year, our children go to 2 different schools and that has created a real challenge for our afternoons. We are hopeful to find a great nanny who can help with afternoon pick ups from school and transport occasionally to after school activities. We've had an au pair for the last 7 years but did not seek a new one this year as our children have grown older.
Most important will be picking up kids from school and bringing them either to activities and/or back home.
We live in the Patterson Park area of southeast Baltimore City. One child attends Mt. Royal ES/MS in Bolton Hill and the other child attends Park School on Old Court Rd. Afternoon pick up generally includes 4:00p (or so) pickup from Park, 15 minute drive to Bolton Hill to get 2nd child, another 10-15 minute drive to our home, arriving around 4:45p-5:15p. Small snack and homework help at home. On Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, both kids have activities. Need help 3:45p-5:45p/6:00p M-F.
