We are a family of three and have another baby boy on the way (March 2025). My husband is a full-time student at MIT and I work full time at Boston University. Our son Luke is just over a year old, loves to play, go outdoors, and eat all sorts of foods. He loves going to playgrounds, the Museum of Science, and libraries.
We need a sitter to watch our son while we are at work/school and feed him snacks/meals. The food will already be prepared/on hand for the sitter. The only ‘housekeeping’ we expect the sitter to do is clean up any toys that Luke played with for the day and any mess he makes while eating. On one occasion, we will need the sitter to put Luke to bed.
We live in an apartment in Kendall Square, easily accessible from the Red Line (4 minute walk/700 feet to Kendall/MIT Station). Our building has a children’s playroom, complete with toys, a slide, books, play kitchen, etc. We need care for the following dates: 12-15 NOV, 25-26 NOV, 18-22 NOV, and 2 DEC. Exact hours will be dependent on our daily schedules, but generally be 8am-4pm, willing to be somewhat flexible. Guaranteed hours will range from min 5 to max 8 hrs (day dependent).
